The condition of the world!

The earthquakes and tsunami's as a result of them. It is a scarey time, IF all we do is read and hear the news. Washington state is included in the tsunami warnings. Have you heard anything about that, Hanson's? I have been praying all day today. I'm praying the blood of the precious lamb of God over those I know and love, and all people in the path of this disaster! I pray for God's mercy and grace. I pray all will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. And that we all know the "Blessed Hope" of knowing God in all HIS glory, in His Son, and through His Holy Spirit.

And now I am hearing of massive flooding, tornadoes, thunder and lightening all over the Eastern and sounthern U.S.

Read Matthew 24 through chapter 25:1-13

What are your thoughts on this?

Pray!

Hi Aunt Lonnie. I woke up to the news of the earthquake and the tsunami warnings and watches for the U.S. west coast. I was late for work because I had to find out about the tsunami threat to us. The media just sensationalized that so bad. The waves were only going to be 1.9 feet to 3 feet larger than normal by the time they reached Washington. Worse in California and Mexico. I have to read the scripture you qoted. We are a-ok in WA.

I am glad you are O.K. in Washington as the warnings were originally for the Seattle area too. I was praying. All I can say is I sure am glad Josh was not in Hawaii or it would have been an extra long evening for me. Mom told be about this about 11:30 when it had just happened and my eyes were glued to the T.V. for several hours, then I woke up about 5:00 a.m. to turn on the T.V. and see what was happening in Hawaii. I am sickened by the amount of devastation to Japan. I think of the pregnant ladies, babies, older people, disabled people, people who need their medications, people who have no-where to go and those who have someone missing and no way to communicate. Not to mention, all of those who died or were injured. This will surely effect us in many ways. I feel guilty for the selfish thought of being relieved my son was not in the tsunami and think of all of those who did have to worry. This reminds me of 9-11 and how exhausting it was to watch the news. Devastating.
