I can't help but think of Linda with this promise. Linda is getting help for her troubles! She is hopeful for the first time in a long time.
And Karen, too. She found a wonderful job which will help with her financial troubles.
God is good...all the time!

What a psalm to read and meditate on for this very day what with the hurricane Sandy roaring around and all the earth quakes happening! So good. God surely is speaking to us and giving us strength and shelter!

"God is our shelter, our strength,
ever ready to help in time of trouble,
so we shall not be afraid when the earth gives way,
when mountains tumble into the depths of the sea,
and its waters roar and seethe,
the mountains tottering as it heaves."

We can know from this promise from God that we have a shelter in the storm. He is our strength - ever ready to help when we're in trouble. When horrible things happen all around us and to us, we need not and shall not be afraid. Because we know we have the strong arm of God Himself helping us. Wow! What a promise this one is.

And when the storms of life, the shakings that threaten our very foundations threaten us, who do we turn to for help? We know we can turn to our God and He will be there for us!

Are you weary? Are you afraid? Look to the protection and strength of God. The world can be overwhelming at times, but remember that God has everything under control. Relax in Him.
