Please post answers to prayers
How are Arjay and Chad doing with their college classes? Does Arjay get to graduate this year? Is Chad going to make it into Pharmacy School this year?
You know Tiffany Joy went into the Union Gospel Mission program. It is a Christian Faith based program that specializes in homeless drug addicts along with others that may need a helping hand. You all prayed her right into that place and she is doing fantastic. Of course she has to go 90 days and then make a decision whether she wants to commit to a 1 year program. She is sounding positive about the future, looking healthier and happier. They are fixing her mouth (pulled out 5 teeth - meth rots your mouth). She attends several Bible studies throughout the week, is working with a counselor and a social worker. She has to do chores, community service and take random u.a. tests for drugs. She says she hasn't had any cravings for the drugs except for wanting a beer now and then. She is doing fantastic. She knows everyone is praying for her and she really appreciates the support and hopes we will continue. She loves getting the cards and notes everyone is sending her way. Thank you so much and lets keep her going in the right direction by praying her into a good future.
Praise the Lord for all he is doing in this situation! Thank you so much Jesus, for blessing the family with Tiffany, and for blessing Tiffany with lots of faith filled family! When she is feeling weak, please give her strength and let her see how "worth it" all it is to live a clean and sober life. I also lift up all of the immediate family and ask that you provide all of them with recovery from the effects addiction can have on the entire family. Please continue to bless this family in every way and show Tiffany your love and your will for her. In Jesus' name, I ask for complete healing over this beautiful girl and her family.
I'm sorry - I said Destany instead of Tiffany in my post to ask for prayers. Maybe Destany needs some prayers, too?
Thank you so much for this answer to our prayers post Michelle. It is so encouraging to know God is hearing and answering. Isn't it just awesome when we know this? We'll keep praying for her to want to stay there! She's very blessed to be a part of such a loving and caring family!
