Read the 16th chapter of psalms verses 9-11. This could be a prayer for Kenny.
His heart is glad and his soul rejoices, his body abides in confidence. Because, my Lord, you will not abandon him to the nether world, nor will his body undergo corruption in this life. God is showing him the path of life, the fullness of joys in God's presence, the delights at His hand - forever!
In verse 5 we read (and pray) The Lord is all I need. He takes care of me.
And in Psalms chapter 17 - verse 15b we read (and pray) When I wake up, I will see your likeness, Lord, and be satisfied.
God has the best for you, Kenny, take it all in!
Prayer:
Dear Jesus - you came so that Kenny could have life and have it more abundantly. (John 10:10) Please be with him in a mighty way - fill his heart with joy and confidence in your love for him, and help him see the promises you made to him. Thank you!

I love this verse John 10:10
It is amazing what God promises us. We just have to RECEIVE his promise.
HIS that is
Lonnie, I am a bit confused. I re-read Psalm 16 tonight and it doesn't seem to jive with what you have written here. My Psalm 16 only goes to verse 11, and you reference 15b? I must be reading something wrong?
But, regardless, we hold Pat up to God and ask that He heal her/ We hold Mike up to God and ask that He heal him. In Jesus name.
Oh dear, Sharon - I don't know what I did here. I must have put down the wrong number for the psalm. I will do a little research and correct it tomorrow. (Friday) So sorry.
It should be Psalm 17:15b! Thank you for bringing this to my attention! I missed it all the times I read it.
Thanks for the clarification! I love the promise in 17:15b!
Psalm 17:8 presents a peaceful, loving picture for Pat. She loves Eagles!
"KEEP ME AS THE APPLE OF THY EYE, HIDE ME UNDER THE SHADOW OF THY WINGS."
I envision Pat softly curled up under the outstretched wing of an Eagle (God) resting peacefully. She has no concerns because her Father is taking care of her, sheilding her with His outstretched wing (His Promises). He keeps her pain-free and content as we wait for her miracle. And if the miracle does not come, we know she will awaken looking into the face of Jesus in her Heavenly home.
OUR GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD!! Thy will be done, Father.
Thank you, Father, for keeping Kenny safe under the shadow of your wing until he was completely healed. Bless him again at the start of each new day for the rest of his life here on earth. You are such a faithful God! We thank you and praise you for all that you do.
