My prayer

I pray for all the prayer requests I receive every day. But, I also pray for each of my kids on their own specific day - 7 kids, 7 days in a week - so I pray for Kay and Russ on SUNDAY, Karen, Chad, Brea, Rudy, Rick on MONDAY, Janet, Eric, Arjay and Kailey on TUESDAY, etc, etc, etc . . . . and then I also include everyone in each day, as the Lord reminds me to pray and brings names to my mind as I pray. I'd like to start sharing what I receive during these prayer times here. Maybe this will be helpful to more than just the one I am praying for for that day. I will post them with the name of the one I am receiving the message for, but please put your name in there as you hear a word for you, too!

This will be my first posting.

On March 8 - Sunday - praying for a job for Russ:

God says: "Thank you for returning to church! You honor me, and I will repay you!
I am always communicating with you - always! To find me and hear my voice, you must seek me above all else. Anything you desire more than me becomes an idol. Instead of trying on your own to achieve your goal, talk to me about it. If the goal fits into my plans for you, I will help you reach it. If it is contrary to my will for you, I will gradually change the desire of your heart. SEEK ME FIRST AND THEN THE REST OF YOUR LIFE WILL FALL INTO PLACE PIECE BY PIECE." Read Matthew Chapter 6 and 1st Chronicles Chapter 16, verse 11. Pray the chaplet of Mercy. I gave it to you, Kay, along with the rosary for Christmas. GOD IS GOING TO SEE YOU THROUGH!!!

Thank you for the reminder of how very important it is to seek the Lord, Lonnie. If we are continually seeking the Lord, striving to know Him better, all the rest WILL fall into place. TRUST. He does take care of our daily needs until the goal is met. Sometimes it is hard to trust because life is so topsy turvey. That's when we ask for His help in learning to trust. Once you learn to trust, it doesn't necessarily remain with you. God might shake things up, or just simply LIFE itself might shake things up and we have to try harder and dig deeper to trust. God is always with us. ALWAYS.
