Luke 12:22-32 We are worth more than the birds of the air and the flowers of the fields!"

Set your hearts on His kingdom first, and on his righteousness, and all these other things will be given you as well.  Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself.

Read Luke Chapter 12 verses 22-32. And Matthew 6:25-34. I had received this message from these texts:

"Be not afraid, o my child, rest in me - yes - be quiet before me now and settle down in my care, as a bird settles down in his nest.  For I am watching over you, I love you, and I WILL care for you.

There is no danger that I am unable to turn, there is no enemy too strong for me to handle.  I am able to carry out all my purposes, and to care for you at the same time.

Be not afraid - nor allow fear to strike.  My power is at your disposal.  Call upon my name, my presence is all around, and nothing can harm you as long as you are in my care, and that is FOREVER!"

Hehe this is Promise #6!
I love the message you received from this passage. I got an offer on my house yesterday (!) and I feel afraid... Afraid of not being able to find another place to live, afraid that the offer will fall through, afraid afraid afraid. But I can trust God to honor this promise: If I set my heart on His Kingdom first, then I do not need to worry about tomorrow. WooHoo!

Congratulations, Debbie! And do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will take care of itself. You'll find a place to live. How about Montana?

We had a terrible wind storm tonight. I was home alone and was scared to death! I'm sure you all know how scared I get in a storm. I thought for sure it was going to turn into a tornado. Couldn't hardly see anything outside due to the dust and smoke blowing. We had gusts of 98 MPH. I prayed and prayed for God to protect our home and Phil and me and all. I wish I would have remembered this scripture and God's word in it. Be Not Afraid! But, I went and had to be afraid. After it is over, and Phil came home and I am calmed down - now I can thank God for bringing us through this.
Linda and Jade are in Missoula. Their dogs are in the care of the neighbors. I was afraid their house blew away or that the dogs were scared. But, Dad went up there and checked and everything was okay, and it was all nice and peaceful there. He talked to the neighbors, and they were saying how great that court was. Protected from the wind and all. How did you fare in it, Chuck? I see there were several fires close to town, and blowing closer. One was right below Fed Ex. Dad said there were trees blown down across the streets on his way to Linda's. But nothing as bad as I thought it would be. I felt a warning in all of this!
