Psalm 33

Psalm 33 is so full of everything and many different subjects. Read it and share here what verse or verses jumped out at you.

I love verse 12 tonight. "Happy the nation whose God is the Lord". (Happy and blessed are the same word. I see this as Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. There are so many passages in the bible that speak of God blessing nations when they honor Him. America has always honored God, and we were founded on the principles of God, and we need to stay with Him as Lord of our country if we want to continue in His blessings.)

I agree with you, Mom, which is why I think we have to stand up for righteousness when we vote!

Ever since it was considered unconstitutional for prayer in school, and for the 10 commandments to be posted in classrooms, teenage pregnancy and suicide have skyrocketed. What does that tell you?

And what is wrong with the 10 commandments anyway? What is wrong with "Thou shalt not steal", for example? Oh, it's frustrating to see our country turn away from God!

The laws of our land are based on the 10 commandments. What would the law be based on if we didn't use the 10 commandments. And our America is an idea standing on the truths in the bible. We ARE a christian nation. I hope we can stay that way!

Where is the next promise?

I so agree with this also! Honestly, there is so much bureaucracy in everything now, it is so sad! Our schools are falling so far behind other nations, it is tragic. I don't know how you could go wrong going back to how things once were??? IN GOD WE TRUST. really.
I love vs. 16 & 17too.
16 No king is saved by the size of his army;
no warrior escapes by his great strength.
17 A horse is a vain hope for deliverance;
despite all its great strength it cannot save.
