God speaks to us:
You are my people. You are my bride. (Rev 22:17). You are my beloved. I have given you a special token of my love for you - for I have sealed you with my Holy Spirit - and you are mine - you shall be my crowning glory on that day when I call you to Myself. You are - each one of you - a beautiful, brilliant, special jewell for my crown.
For I will be KING OF KINGS - I will reign over all Kings, nations and peoples. Yes - I will be ruler over all the earth. You shall have a special place of honor for you are my prized possessions. As it is written: You have shared in my suffering, and you shall - on that day - share in my glory.
Rejoice now, that you have been chosen. I have picked you and counted you worthy to suffer for my sake. We share one common destiny, and we walk one single path. At this time, there may be sorrow, pain and suffering in your path, but rejoice, for you will see the glory of God.
Do as Paul: Rejoice in the midst of your suffering and tears, for you know these things in that glorious day shall bring exceedingly greater joy than any thing you can know or imagine in the present, for I will reign as King of all the earth!
"When you see these things begin to happen, look up and rejoice for your redemption draweth nigh".

What if Jesus were running for President of the US? Wouldn't it be interesting to see who would vote for Him?
This is sort of off topic, but when people talk about candidates, it almost always goes to money - taxes, jobs, etc. Rarely, as in never, have I heard anyone talk about obeying God's laws in relation to voting. Our votes shouldn't depend on the candidates stand on taxes (because they lie about that anyway. Plus God has promised to take care of us.) Our vote should depend on how the candidate would obey God's commandments. What is his stand on abortion, and same sex marriages? These issues either honor God or they don't, and that should be our focus.
Anyway, this is our hope! Some day we will be with the King of Kings for all eternity! Good stuff, Mom!
Good for you, Debbie! That's why I always look for the candidate who is pro-life and family oriented. I would vote for Jeus! He's going to be our "governer" one day, anyway. Won't that be a wonderful government! Did you know Kingdom and Government are the same word? So, when the bible mentions the Kingdom, it's talking about God's government. How different HIS government is from ours. Peace, Love, Charity, etc.
I learned something new today! Sounds like a question for Jeopardy, eh?
OH MOM, I LOVE this verse...the last paragrqaph, makes me tear up with so much appreciation for Our God. Joyce said something so profound yesterday. She said she spent a few hours cooking dinner for her family and when it was ready she yelled ... "COME AND GET IT"...AND HER family, ( as a joke, but such a good message) said, "OH, WE DON'T DESERVE IT. WE WERE BAD TODAY AND CAN'T COME TO THE TABLE IN YOUR PRESENCE"...Joyce, knowing they were messing around, felt hurt and angry that they didn't know she loved them anyway and wanted to GIVE them a good meal, no matter what they've done.....JUST AS GOD WANTS US TO COME BOLDLY TO THE TABLE AND RECEIVE HIS BLESSINGS. HE LOVES US, NO MATTER WHAT. WE JUST HAVE TO RECEIVE IT... so simple and SO AMAZING...
